Acure renal failure dud to rhabdomyloysis has several heterocgenous etiologies, and among them hornet sting is a quite rare presentation. Recently, we experienced a case of rhabdomyolysis and acute renal failure due to multiple hornet stings. He
was
stung by a swam of hornets (62 stings) on scalp, face, arms, trunk, and back, he was maintained on acute peritoneal dialysis for oliguric renal failure before renal function recovered to the normal range 41 days after the hornet stings. So we
report
this case with a brief review of literature.
